León es una ciudad del estado de Guanajuato, en el centro de México. Es conocida por sus productos de cuero, que se venden en las tiendas de la Zona Piel. El Palacio Municipal se ubica en la Plaza Principal arbolada y tiene murales que recorren la historia de la región. El Templo Expiatorio del Sagrado Corazón, de estilo neogótico, tiene una cripta con catacumbas. En la Catedral Basílica, está el Museo de Arte Sacro, con esculturas y pinturas religiosas.
León is a city in the state of Guanajuato, in central Mexico. It is known for its leather products, which are sold in the stores in the Leather Zone. The Municipal Palace is located in the tree-lined Main Plaza and has murals that trace the history of the region. The Expiatory Temple of the Sacred Heart, in neo-Gothic style, has a crypt with catacombs. In the Basilica Cathedral, there is the Museum of Sacred Art, with sculptures and religious paintings.
